Judges Ricky Martin, Laura Pausini and Alejandro Sanz watched hopefuls audition to be the next Latino supergroup, in South Beach, Miami. Thousands of fans turned up to watch singers competing in the Simon Cowell-backed show, 'La Banda'. The show is launching in the US on TN network Univision this fall. Ricky Martin also serves as executive producer and will manage the winning group. Spanish star Alejandro Sanz and Italian star Laura Pausini are the other two judges. 'La Banda' is hosted by Alejandra Espinoza. The show was developed by Cowell's SYCO Entertainment, Haim Saban's Saban Brands and co-produced with FremantleMedia Latin America.
